About OPERASCH
OPERASCH (formerly SmartSOS) is a multi-tenant school operations platform built by ScalMint — live answers on fees, attendance, results, e-learning and payroll, GES-compliant report cards, Mobile Money payments.
Our Story
Built by Schools, for Schools
OPERASCH started with a simple observation: schools were running on paper forms, spreadsheets, and disconnected apps, while their teachers and bursars spent hours on work that software should do in minutes. Most so-called school management systems were built elsewhere and bolted on — they broke when connectivity dropped, ignored Mobile Money, and had no idea what a BECE aggregate was.
We built OPERASCH the other way around. ScalMint engineered the platform for modern schools. Every module starts from the realities of a school day: teachers marking attendance on a phone with an unstable connection, bursars reconciling MTN MoMo payments against fee ledgers, and headteachers preparing report cards in the exact format the Ghana Education Service expects.
That starting point shaped the product. It integrates MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, and AirtelTigo Money so parents can pay fees from the wallet they already have. Its gradebook computes BECE aggregates and WASSCE grading automatically, and its AI tools write report card comments, lesson plans, and quizzes so teachers can focus on teaching.
We are on a mission to give every school — from a single classroom block to a national school group — the same technology advantage: one platform that handles academics, finances, inventories, and administration, built to the standards this country expects and run with the security its data deserves.
A note on the name: OPERASCH began life as SmartSOS. Same team, same platform, the same engineering team — we changed the name because it describes what the product actually does: the operations of a school, end to end.

What We Stand For
Four Pillars, One Platform

One system for every role
Admins, headmasters, teachers, students, parents, accounts, librarians, and storekeepers each get a portal scoped to exactly what they need — with role-based access controls on every record.
